Its mandate is to operate, maintain, and administer a safe and efficient pilotage service in the St. Lawrence River between Les Escoumins and north of the northern entrance to the St. Lambert Lock, in the Saguenay River, except the waters of Chaleur Bay south of Cap d’Espoir.
