## Questions people ask

### Do I need the disability tax credit to get the CDB?

Yes. Approval for the disability tax credit is one of the requirements, along with your age, residence, status in Canada and filing your 2025 tax return.

### Can I work and still get the Canada Disability Benefit?

Yes. Part of your working income is exempt, and earning more than the exempt amount does not always lower your benefit.
